As a first stage, OXUS will strengthen its direct operations through the existing local subsidiary in Tajikistan and those being under registration in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. We will also develop technical assistance and support the set up and broad diffusion to other MFIs through a Loan Tracking Software (2005-2006). It has to be noted that the development of this technical assistance has been made possible thanks to partnerships, with OCTO Technology for the development of the software and ABN AMRO France for the human resources.

As a second stage, OXUS plans to expand its activities to other countries according to two main mechanisms: from an operational point of view, we plan to set up local OXUS subsidiaries in several other countries and support local Microfinance Institutions through refinancing and technical support (2007-2010); we also plan to develop new services according to the needs such as micro insurance, savings, deposits etc.
