The Microfinance Investment Support Facility for Afghanistan (MISFA) provides critical performance-based institution-building and on-lending funds to a wide range of retail financial intermediaries.
Funding proposals are currently developed by MFIs in close collaboration with MISFA staff, and then approved by a steering committee composed of the GOA, the World Bank, and CGAP as the representative of its participating member donors.
The new contract between MISFA and OXUS Afghanistan for a total funding of USD 2.08 million for the period July 2006 to June 2007 was signed on the 30 th of July.
